If you are new to Pilates or prefer to workout in the comfort of your own home, in private, then this is for you.
For those of you that have never done Pilates before, private tuition allows me to assess your posture, go through the basic breathing technique and take time in getting you comfortable with neutral spine and deep abdominal/ pelvic floor activation. It also will help me in suggesting the correct class for you, accommodating your current ability and grasp of the Pilates concept.
Cost for individual sessions is more expensive and can be made more affordable by exercising with a friend or even two.
DEEP TISSUE/ SPORTS MASSAGE
Used in conjunction with Pilates or as a stand alone treatment, deep tissue massage can help to bring about better aligned muscles and posture.
The older we get, the more likely we are to have formed bad or repetitive habits through our jobs or lifestyles. This can result in pain, pinched or trapped nerves, muscle weakness and tension due to bad posture or joint stiffness, all of which had an effect on our health and mental wellbeing.
Deep tissue massage can help to improve the flow of oxygenated blood, increase circulation and relieve muscle tension allowing the body to hold itself in better alignment. Loosening muscle tension, allows the mind and body to relax.
For those suffering from a sports injury, increasing the flow of oxygenated blood helps to speed up the recovery process as well as to lengthen and help to prevent scar tissue forming.
Your first appointment will include a consultation and postural examination where required.

Follow-up appointments - 45mins
For treatments done in the comfort of your own home an extra charge will be added. For treatments done outside of Hastings a travel charge maybe added.
