About Me

I have also gained qualifications in Sports massage and Rehabilitation, G.P Referals, Adapted Physical Activity for the Disabled Person and Ante and Post-Natal Pilates. Vikki Jones

Pilates Instructor

I have worked in the fitness industry since qualifying in 1998 as a gym instructor and aerobics instructor. I then used these skills working on a cruise ship in Alaska and the Caribbean, and on my return to the UK became a full-time gym instructor at the Bexhill Leisure Centre. While working in Bexhill I qualified in Kick Aerobics, Fitness Assessments & Health Appraisals and Body Massage, gaining vital knowledge with which to look after my client base.

I was then offered a position as Gym Manager in New Romney, Kent, where I worked for five years before leaving to start a family. During that time, I took further qualifications in Sports Massage and Rehabilitation, G.P. Referrals, Adapted Physical Activity for the Disabled Person and Modern Pilates Matwork Instructor. In 2007 I gained my Ante & Post-Natal Pilates qualification.

I have been teaching Pilates since 2004, offering a highly personalised service taking into account not just common general aches and pains (i.e. an aching back), but also able to offer recommendations and alternatives to each individual.

I am a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, (REP’s) Advanced Level 3 membership no. (R0019117) and a Member of the International Council of Health, Fitness & Sports Therapists. / Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
